The Residential HVAC Technician Level 3 program includes the following three advanced courses (called a Learning Path). Each course completes with a chapter exam. The courses are listed and described below

Science, Heat, and the Refrigeration cycle

In HVAC systems, heat transfer is the process of moving heat from one area to another. This process is the basis of all air conditioning, heating, and refrigeration systems.

Building Codes and Regulations

Local and national building codes guide the installation, service, and maintenance of many things, including the HVAC/R system. HVAC/R personnel must be familiar with local, state, and federal code compliance.

Installations and Accessories

HVAC Module 4 – Installations is a dedicated course to bring new and experienced installers up to speed on the latest trends. Many courses are stuffed full of physics and needless exercises that will not be used in the field. This course is a job preparation course to build installers-not scientists.

Final Exam
